ORDINARY FLOAT GLASS

Float glass is ordinary clear glass, used most commonly in everyday applications. Ordinary glass is colourless and provides the basis for the further production of all other glass types.

This glass is the most widely used type today in construction and in the production of almost all glass products. It is available in thicknesses of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 19 and 25 mm.

It can be body-tinted or coated, and is also used to make mirrors.

FROSTED GLASS – SATINATO

Satin glass is float glass chemically treated to achieve a certain level of opacity.

Sometimes also called milk glass because of its whitish, satin appearance. This glass has a smooth surface that shows fewer fingerprints and less dust. It is used decoratively, especially where privacy is required, such as partition walls or doors in offices or hotels.

FROST-PATTERN GLASS

Patterned glass is often used decoratively in our homes and workplaces. It transmits light but has low transparency, making it ideal for interior doors or partitions between rooms. This glass can be clear or coloured, and is particularly recognisable by its surface texture known as “ornament”. Its decorative patterns both ensure privacy between rooms and add an aesthetic touch to the interior.

CHINCHILLA GLASS

Chinchilla glass consists of curved textures that reflect light with subtle diffusion.

The lines and texture create a striking wave-like appearance and offer a medium level of privacy in rooms where this glass is installed.

TOUGHENED SAFETY GLASS

Toughened safety glass is produced by heating glass to the limit of plasticity at approximately 600˚C. It offers high mechanical and thermal resistance, as well as safety in the event of breakage.

If broken, the glass shatters into small pieces with rounded edges, minimising the risk of injury.

Toughened glass cannot be worked after heat treatment; all cutting, grinding and drilling must be completed before toughening.

SANDBLASTED GLASS

Sandblasted glass is milky white glass produced by applying quartz sand under pressure. Desired decorations and motifs can be created on the glass, remaining permanently enclosed in the cavity of the insulating glass unit, allowing the needs and wishes of customers and the most demanding projects to be met.

COOL-LITE SKN

This type of glass is reflective and used for solar protection, reflecting as much as 75% of solar radiation (infrared) without significantly reducing light transmission.

Stopsol glass can be used as single or insulating glazing, with the coating on the outside or inside of the glass, without changes to its properties over the years.
