SOLAR PROTECTION
COOL-LITE® SKN
COOL-LITE SKN
DESCRIPTION
COOL-LITE SKN is a range of products whose coatings provide high performance in both solar control and thermal insulation. The coatings are applied to PLANICLEAR® clear float glass by cathodic sputtering under vacuum conditions.
APPLICATION
Thanks to their unique properties, these glass products are ideally suited to applications with a high glazing ratio, where energy consumption for heating/cooling must be kept as low as possible while maintaining abundant natural light.
This glass meets the highest aesthetic requirements, giving the building additional personality and elegance. The space takes on a warm atmosphere, while its connection to the surroundings adds comfort and revitalises the spirit
ADVANTAGES
COOL-LITE SKN glass combines the benefits of high-performance solar control and thermal insulation with those of neutral glass: Very low g-value; Excellent thermal insulation coefficient: Ug? 1,1 W/m K High light transmission; Reduced reflection; High neutrality in both transmission and external reflection.
COOL-LITE SKN products can be used to create more comfortable interiors by significantly reducing the greenhouse effect and the need for costly air conditioning. During the cold season, COOL-LITE SKN provides a high level of thermal insulation while significantly reducing excessive heat loss.
In line with these characteristics, we can use larger glazing areas, achieving a high contribution from natural light and visual comfort. This reduces costs associated with artificial lighting and creates a healthier living environment.
