The first day of summer – the ideal time for new windows, doors and insect protection

21 June 2025

Today, 21 June, summer officially begins – a season when we pay particular attention to indoor comfort, protection from external influences and energy efficiency. Stable weather, longer days and higher temperatures make this the ideal time to plan and carry out replacement or installation of new exterior windows and doors.

As a company that has been building trust with clients for 28 years, SAPLAST d.o.o. Sarajevo continually improves its solutions to meet demanding market requirements, whether for new construction, renovation or modernisation of existing buildings.

Quality windows and doors – the key to summer comfort

SAPLAST manufactures and installs windows and doors using PVC, ALU, wood and wood-ALU systems, combined with thermally insulating glass with high energy efficiency. In summer, these systems significantly protect against overheating and UV radiation while allowing natural ventilation without sacrificing comfort.

Benefits of SAPLAST windows and doors in summer:

Effective protection from heat and UV rays
Improved sound insulation
Lower air-conditioning costs
Visual compatibility with contemporary and traditional architecture
Durability and minimal maintenance

Insect screens – discreet protection for healthy, peaceful living

Open windows and doors are an everyday summer necessity, often bringing exposure to insects and outside influences. In this context, insect screens become an important functional addition to SAPLAST windows and doors.

SAPLAST offers made-to-measure solutions integrated with every opening type, including:

SAPLAST ST fixed insect screens – simple, lasting protection
Roller insect screens – practical mechanisms for everyday use
Pleated insect screens – attractive and ideal for doors
Sliding insect screens – functional for large glazed areas

All models use durable materials with fine mesh that does not obstruct views or light while providing complete insect protection.
